AIND strives to gain a greater understanding and identification of
co-occurring biomedical, health, and genetic diagnoses with the potential for comprehensive and holistic treatment, particularly as it pertains to pain, health, mental health, and quality of life.
AIND advocates for acquiring more knowledge of those who are non- or minimally speaking in conjunction with aiding in the creation of transformative technology to better support their communication.
AIND believes that a deeper understanding of lifespan issues will lead to more informed pedagogy, advocacy, and inclusive policy development.
